On the occasion of the 600th anniversary of the establishment of the diplomatic relations between Poland and Turkey and of the 10th anniversary of Poland’s membership in the European Union, the European Commission Representation in Poland and the Polish Institute of International Affairs are please to invite you to a conference entitled “Prospects of EU enlargement: time for consolidation?”.  The conference will also provide the opportunity to present European Commission's annual reports on the progress of candidates and potential candidates seeking membership of the EU (so called ELARG package announced on 6 October). The seminar will highlight the European Commission’s new focus in the EU enlargement policy,  represented under the motto “quality before speed”.
