International Cooperation

The Centre for Europe works in close cooperation with foreign partners – first of all with the European Commission and the Council of Europe; we also work with many foreign academic centres, both under direct agreements and in joint execution of specific projects (e.g. with the universities in: Oxford, Maastricht, Milan, Berlin), as well as by participating in academic staff exchange under the ERASMUS Plus Programme. In addition, the Centre belongs to the network of 250 European universities, colleges and institutes which offer the possibility of obtaining a diploma in European Studies. Under the Erasmus Plus Programme, the Centre for Europe works with 33 academic centres from thirteen European countries (Belgium, France, Latvia, Spain, the Netherlands, Germany, Portugal, Romania, Slovenia, Sweden, Turkey, Italy and Great Britain). Furthermore, the Centre collaborates with non-European universities – from the USA, India, Indonesia and China.
