Generation Maastricht

Generation Maastricht

Génération Maastricht is a think-and-do-tank founded at the end of 2020, based in both Paris and Brussels, whose primary objective is to enable young people to acquire a better knowledge of the European institutions and their decision-making processes. We are an independent and politically unaffiliated think-tank that promotes youth-led work on the European Union.

We currently have over 1000 supporters, 150 volunteers and dozens of branches across Europe, all of which are entirely led by young people. We are now the largest think and do tank of this kind in Europe. At this stage of development, in 2022, we have participated in more than 120 thematic meetings with the United Nations on environmental affairs, human rights, health and digital developments. We are also recognised for these engagements by several UN divisions – including the future UN Youth Bureau – and the European Commission’s DG CLIMA, AGRI and MOVE – our 2022-2025 objective is to open a new gateway to represent European youth accurately at the UN.

We want to open new university chapters of Generation Maastricht across Poland, and in Warszawa. We have experience of organising conferences nationally and throughout Europe, with high-level speakers – from MPs to Prime Ministers, civil society and industry leaders.
